For the sake of visitor convenience in Kota Tua area, the West Jakarta Administration keeps conducting various ways. One of them is by focusing on waste handling.

“There must be seriousness in solving waste problem. Don’t throw the responsibility among officers in the field," said West Jakarta Deputy Mayor, M Zen, Thursday (9/10).

For the initial phase, his side will collect the data of janitor and disposal waste site (TPS) around Kota Tua.

"Whether the TPS and janitor are adequate or not. Hence, we’ll collect tourist’s number," said Zen.

Zen added trash transportation will also be re-arranged. “Due to high waste volume, trash transportation must also be conducted every day,” he closed.
